M. Night Shyamalan, The Sixth Sense, directed this interesting and somewhat creepy alien film about a family in the middle of an alien...invasion? possibly. Mel Gibson plays Graham Hess who lives with his brother Merrill, played by (the rapper :P) Joaquin Phoenix, and his two children. One day, the family notice crops circles in their fields...Graham tries not to notice anything and passes day by day like nothing is happening, even the signs are ALL around him. From TV to readings there are warnings of aliens among us, so to speak. But when trouble hits home, what will the family do? Although a PG-13 sci-fi type movie its still a great movie to see.

I really enjoyed this movie, I feel M. Night Shyamalan has a knack for these types of movies but recently he hasn't been living up to his true potential, which is shown in this movie and his early ones as well. The acting in this movie good by the main characters, but of course not so great from the kids. But everyone is believeable enough to get by for the film! Now, when I first saw this movie I was around the age of 12, roughly, and when I first saw the alien scenes and what not the movie was pretty damn freaky-ish. Not really scary or "oh no" now I'm scarred for life type stuff, but its just surprising at points for younger audiences.

So for that, its a good movie for the kids to see, its nothing bad or gory or violent. Really the movie is mostly talking with alittle bit of suspense building and its good for all ages to enjoy. Overall, this is a great movie for everyone to see. Its a PG-13 sci-fi movie and its a really good movie even though the rating isn't a HARD R....I give M. Night Shyamalan's movie Signs a 7/10!!!!
