EASILY, M. Night Shyamalan's best film that he has done is this movie, The Sixth Sense. This movie is about a troubled kid named Cole Sear who keeps quiet and to himself but is inside very troubled. Dr. Malcolm Crowe, played by Bruce Willis, comes across this young boy and tries to help him, because he's a child psychologist. Meanwhile, Cole is trying to patch things up with his wife, because they went through alittle problems and she now ignores him most of the time. Anyways, Cole begin to trust Malcolm and begins to open up to him, by telling him his problem. This little boy is troubled indeed, but what is so troubling that he can barely deal with it?

Now, I don't really know where to begin with this movie, there's so many places to start and they are all positive. The acting in this movie is good, and Willis proves that he doesn't need a gun in hand running around a building to be an actor, he is a good and respectable serious actor as well!

Not only is this movie good, but its also a good creepy PG-13 horror movie. They show some shocking stuff in this movie and for some people it may actually scare them! Shyamalan is usually good with making family acceptable horror films and this one is borderline for that, its good for children as a good little horror flick, but some things are shocking for very young children.

Anyways, the story is very original and I love the script. This movie is very well done as well. Once you've seen the movie and know the twist its great to rewatch the movie and catch the signs leading up. Trust me, once you've seen the movie once its ALL different the second time around...you're like, "OH, so thats why that happened!" and stuff like that.

Overall, this is an early signs movie to a promising career for M. Night Shyamalan. Although he may not be at the top of his game like he used to, he still has it in him to make a film great. This movie deserved the oscar nominations and its a great must see horror film from the late 90's! If you have not seen this movie DO SO NOW! Its a great great film! I give The Sixth Sense n 8/10!!!!
