Ginger Snaps

***Out by sixteen or dead on the scene, but together forever***

The opening of the movie looks strange. It’s almost as if the town stop caring. Somethng awful is happening but it seems it has been happening for quite sometime.

Soon enough we get to meet Ginger and Bridgette to young teen sisters. Who seems to be fed up with life and ready to leave this earth. They just haven’t found the perfect way just yet. We soon enough get to see how they different they are. Ginger being the more out going sister while Bridget is mire timid and awkward. As they try to do a prank of a girl from school who teased Bridget one time too much things turns ugly and Ginger is bitten by something that looks like a wild dog.

From then on things start to get strange. The cuts on Ginger’s body are healing by themselves, they are getting hairy and her periods are rather intense. She is also getting interrested in drugs, boys, her looks and getting mean to her sister all things which wer completly unGinger like.

Things then go from bad to worst as nothing can control Ginger and her hungrer. Sam understands what is going on and tries to help Ginger and Bridget. Bt Ginger is too far gone to be help and is actually starting to like what she is. She is even starting the spread the virus aorund. But soon enough she will be afraid of what she is becoming.

I love this story it think it is well made and the characters are not 2 dimentionals. You can actually like them and even feel some sort of connection to them. But i thought the pace of the movie was rather slow. It’s not full of action and it takes a while to see the whole change in Ginger but on and all it’s a great watch.

The opening credits are probably part of the best one i have ever seen. It’s a collage of pictures of the sisters in different types of form of suicide.which are rather well done. This along with the dialogue made it a kickass movie.
