Planet Terror Review

this is an Over the top Zombie flick by Robert Rodriguez.. Cherry  (Rose McGowan ) decides to quit her job as a go-go dancer. Good thing too as she wasn't a very good one.. At the same time, the scientist Abby(Naveen Andrews) is arguing with a military group  over some top secret nerve gas weapon.. During the fight, the nerve gas ends up released into the atmosphere.

Dr William Block(Josh Brolin)  has a deep hatred of his wife Dakota (Marley Shelton )and believes she is cheating with another woman. But he is distracted by the arrival at the hospital of a series of patients with hideously mutating sores. (We learn that the infected people are running rampant).. Stopping off at the Bone Shack restaurant , Cherry meets her old boyfriend, the tow-truck driver Wray,( Freddy Rodriguez ) and begs a ride. But Wray crashes after skidding to avoid a deer on the road. He rushes the wounded Cherry to hospital where Block must sever her leg.

Block also attempts to kill Dakota by injecting her with a paralyzing anaesthetic. Wray is arrested by the sheriff but suddenly all around, the infected dead return to life and come after the living, hungry for flesh. A group of various survivors gather at The Bone Shack. Led by Wray, they attempt to shoot their way to safety past the growing number of zombies.  One of the weapons happens to be attached to Cherry's leg--giving her gun in place of a foot.   A crazy tongue-in cheek Zombie flick
