Carriers Review

Carriers was definetly not a good movie. When it starts out it has a good feeling to it and gets you thinking as to what the virus is, what it does to people (perhaps zombies?) and how you become infected by it . The story basically follows 4 survivors who are looking to make it to the beach. 2 of the survivors are brothers and the other two are girls, one of which is dating the older borhter.

The movie progresses but with no action at all.  It seems to drag on to them entering areas that seem spooky or something cool is going to happen, only to find out that there really is nothing going on. As far as the virus goes, it has nothing to do with zombies at all. It is just a virus that basically makes you breakout into these nasty blisters and rashes all over your body and ultimately turns you insane before you die. The way it is transported through to another person is through a persons breath or blood (hence the masks on the movie posters).Very, very lame.

There are numerous amounts of pointless scenes such as them playing golf at a country club. It does however feature a rather entertaining and more comedic scene than dramatic towards the end involving the older brother shooting some ladies to take their car.  While the acting is pretty decent, the storyline just isnt there and the movie has many biuld up moments.....but they build up to nothing and leave you free falling. Not evern worth renting in my opinion.
