House of 1000 Corpses. A film by Rob Zombie. Being a fan of his music and his videos I was aware of the Zombie's fondness of pushing the envelope with wild colors and bizaree random imagery. I was not disappointed. The first of his movies about the murderous Firefly family. . The film begins with Captain Spaulding , a storeowner who wears clown make up and who runs his own freakshow exhibts AND a 'murder ride ' Where he has all the serial killers displayed.

Including 'Dr Satan' a local legendary killer who was hanged nearby. After enjoying his exhibt ,a group of young travelers pick up a sexy hitch hiker named Baby. Soon there is car trouble and they are forced to go to Baby's home. ( here's when the REAL murder ride begins .fasten your seatbelts boys and girls- its a whopper ! ) The Fireflies are an odd bunch of people with a lust for torturing and killing .

Baby and Otis like 2 get their kicks by subjecting their victims to a glimpse of their own style of madness. a bizarre house of murderers. where missing cheerleaders are tied to the same bed with their dead friends. Baby dancing to 'brick house as she watches her brother Otis siice and dice a victim . .victims both dead and alive all over the house casually ignored as if they were furniture. . Strange Halloween rituals. .if you like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Rob Zombie's music videos then you will LOVE this movie !
