Dog Soldiers Review

Dog Soldiers is a B-grade film that gets better and better with age. It's a great low-budget effort that holds its entertainment value with repeated viewings.

From the opening scene to the final credits, this is gloriously goofy and gory midnight movie stuff. So much so that Dog Soldiers doesn't transcend the genre -- it embraces it, energizes it and takes big bloody chomps out of it.

It's one of the most gloriously unsubtle and adrenalized extreme shockers since The Evil Dead. In a way, it's a shame there hasn't been a sequel. But, at the same time, I'm glad no one has come along and messed with what made this movie so darn fun.
