Dusk till Dawn is like two movies rolled into one.  The first is a moody thriller about a pair of thieves who have done a jail break and pull off a bank job and hightail it to Mexico. The crooks are brothers:  handsome Seth Gecko (George Clooney) and his disturbed younger brother, Richie (Quentin Tarantino), a pale geek whose short fuse and perverse sexual appetites keeps threatening to screw up their plans. For insurance, they take some hostages first a bank teller ( who Richie rapes and kills the moment Seth leaves the room ) then a widowed former pastor named Jacob Fuller (Harvey Keitel) and his two kids, teenage Kate (Juliette Lewis) and her adopted Chinese brother, Scott (Ernest Liu). As the five head for the Mexican border in the Fullers' RV. The Gecko brothers  and  their captives form an uneasy truce.

The second movie is a bloody vampire  horror freak-out — once in Mexico, the Gecko brothers are scheduled to meet their connection at the Titty Twister, a scrungy burlesque palace crammed with strippers, bikers, and the over the top obscene carny-barker speech that Cheech Marin delivers on the front steps is pure, outrageous Tarantino." Pussy Pussy Pussy"  he shouts..  But the moment the action moves inside this over scale juke joint, you can feel Rodriguez' crazed imagination take over the movie. There are mano-a-mano brawls with bodies flying, a snake dance featuring the SEXY Salma Hayek , and, finally, the transformation of virtually everyone on screen into shrieking, bloodsucking vampire beasts. Soon Seth and Jacob ( and brave Kate )  have to put aside their differences to  defeat the vampires.

The dialogue was pure Tarantino . The visuals were amazing.. The vampires were very gory and very different..Great acting and the actors , not only did we have George Clooney and Harvey Kietel -- we had Tom Savani (Sex Machine), a biker with a fondness for whips and a gun holstered at his groin. Fred Williamson ( Frost ) a tough guy who helps with the vampire slaying and bit parts played by John Saxon (FBI agent ) and Kelly Preston( news reporter)  .And Cheech Marin played 3 different roles in this movie !!  The music was the best I've heard in a Horror movie ..set the mood perfectly throughout the whole movie…

Needless to say. this is one of my favorite vampire movies..
