Candyman Review

Hi all today Im gunna review Candyman, I heard alot of great things from horror lovers on youtube about this movie. I have to say it was really wierd. There wern't alot of scare scenes in the movie but there was some. The first scare scene telling the legend of candyman made me jump up because it was a fast shot and overall I was pleased with the shocking moments. I wish Candyman could of looked abit more scarier though. His voice is terrifying, his hook is terrifying but then he just looks like a average man. Except his chest under his jacket, SICK.

I love how crazy Helen goes in the movie and she gets blamed for the deaths. You really never know if candyman is a illusion or if shes killing them herself for a little while. Probably my favorite scene is when Helen says candyman 5 times in the mirror in the doctors office. Candyman shows up and rapes the fuck out of the doctor with his hook. good slasher fun there. one of the bloodiest scenes I thought is when the dog gets its head cut off. Just sickining.

before the ending where Helen trys to save the baby in the junk pile was very gripping for me. We see the kids thinking its candyman in the pile of junk so they cover it in gasoline and light it on fire. The whole time ur thinking is she gunna out, are they actually gunna kill the baby! but no the filmmakers came to there senses and it was a great scene. After that scene Helen gets burned to shit and dies.

The ending left me VERY satisfied. Helens greiving husband who was having an affair when she was in the psycho hospital for killing people is still having the affair with one of his students. hes a college professor i think. So he's grieving in the bathroom and he just happens to say helens name 5 times. he turns off the light and is about to leave and burned dead helen shows up and  slaughters the fuck out of him with a hook. when his love affair walks in to see what happened it was gruesome. And I have to say was my favorite scene in the whole movie. Blood was everywhere! If your looking for a good gore fest this is the movie but its very very different from a f13 or any other slasher. It was very original. Definatly pick this one up. Its worth it!
