Hatchet Review

GORE GORE GORE!  This film was full of gore, i absolutely enjoyed it too, it was great to see a newer horror film that was actually good!

 Our film starts with a fisherman, and his son hunting alligators in the swamp, and right off we get a good share of intestines!! Absoultely awsome is what I thought, and I was correct! Our story is basically, two guys at mardi gras head out for a haunted boat ride for the swamp, with a bunch of people, this swamp was once home to Victor Crowley.. Crowley's story is, when he was born he was hidiousely deformed, all of his life he was taunted and teased by kids, and he stayed in the house with his father usally.. Anyways, one night some teenagers throw some firecrackers at the Crowley house to try and get Victor to come out, so they can get a good look at him, but the house catches on fire, and Victor's dad pulls up, he trys to push open the door, but he cant, so he grabs a hatchet and starts hackin, but what he didnt know was his son was pressed up against the other side trying to get out, and his dad hacked him right in the face.. For 10 years after this, the old man sat there in that house, and finally died..

 So we have the tour boat coming through the swamp, and they get stuck, then we get rain, the boat starts to sink, they have to get off onto land.. One of the passengers is bitten by a gator, so they need to find help, only one way to the highway, Thourgh the old Crowley house.. The old couple go calling for help, (dumb old folks in horror movies) and then we get a completely hacked off shoulder and a jaw ripped in half!! Hell yeah! This stuff continues, they are hunted by Victor all night, and the ending was great in my opinoin loved it..
