The Eye Review

Plot: Sydney Wells (Jessica Alba) was blinded at age five. Fiveteen years later she gets a cornea transplant. Her sight slowly comes back as she experiences ghostly images of mostly fire and death.

The Eye is a waste of a horror fan's time. The scares are incredibley weak, and there was no real moment that made the viewer jump in their seat or even try to mumble a scream. I was very dissapointed in this film. The PG-13 rating really just held back a lot of elements that could have made this a good film.

Letter Grade: D+

The Eye, as a horror film, fails to scare or even entertain the viewer. Not worth a buy on DVD, and for horror fans only, not worth a rent. Sorry Ms. Alba.
