  After a meteor crashes to earth alien slugs are unleashed upon a small town. Grant is the first to get infected, turning him into a crazed maniac who is hungry for meat. When a young mother is reported missing the townsfolk begin suspecting Grant who is mutating at an alarming speed. Soon, the town has bigger concerns when a slug epidemic takes place. Now it's up to Grants' wife Starla to save the day.

 I had a lot of fun watching slithers. It's kind of like an old- fashioned B-movie sci-fi, but with a litle more bite to it. Not only does it have  plenty of exciting gore, but it also has some cool creature effects as well.  And it's funny too. The film takes place in a small town full of interesting characters like the foul mouthed mayor. Some of the humor does seem a bit absurd at times, but overall I enjoyed it.
