The Crazies (2010) Review

I have one word to describe how much i love this movie and it is "spectacular" I am not going into the cast and characters for i am sure its all been said in other reviews.

The movie is a lot like The Carriers, Dream Catcher and 28 Days Later kinda in one movie. The story follows the life of a sheriff of a small town and his pregnant wife. As the story unfolds the sheriff notices people in his town are going crazy, killing their families then a mysterious plane crash is discovered in the swamp leading the sheriff to believe this is the route cause of the sickness but no one believes him. Soon the whole town is infected and you get to whiteness the most gruesome of deaths, murders unfold before your eyes. I was barely able to sit down in my seat during some of the gruesome scenes. I was definitely squirming in my seat!

Usually horror movies with over the top gore have bad script and acting but that was not the case here. The script, acting and dialog was fantastic. The story flowed together perfectly and there were no loopholes. All was explained and well thought out

I give this movie a 9 out of 10
