Martyrs Review

I freaking loved Martyrs.  Going into it I had an idea of what it was about but I was in no way ready for the shock fest that was Martyrs.  I found the acting and effects absolutely great.  It was shot brilliantly.  The shotgun scene blew my mind (no pun intended), and scene after scene after that, I was amazed.  The entire movie was shocking, sick, disgusting, and remarkable, a perfect horror movie combination.

Martyrs is a masterpiece in my opinion.  It’s perfect example of an original horror film that pushes the limits.  Martyrs is one of my new favourite movies and its images are forever burned into my brain.
