Day of the Dead (Original) Review

10 out of 10 Skulls

Day of the Dead is one of the best zombie films of all time. The story is great, the characters are good, the gore is awesome, and the zombies look terrific. What more could you ask for in a zombie film? In fact the only draw back to Day of the Dead was the score music. Unfortunately, the music just didn't fit the film. But that's my one and only complaint.

This 1985 zombie classic is directed by the great George Romero and stars Lori Cardille, Terry Alexander, and Joe Pilato. A special shout out goes to Sherman Howard, who greatly played the role of Bub the zombie. It was the first time in a horror film when you actually felt deep sorrow for a flesh eating zombie. Great stuff.

I love Day of the Dead. It's a classic, and should be watched by every horror fan. Highly recomended. It get's a 10 out of 10 rating and a letter grade of a A.

Hope you enjoy the gore fest and have plenty of fun with Bub.
