Mortuary Review

Mortuary stars Dan Byrd, Alexandra Adi, Denise Crosby, and is directed by the great Tobe Hooper. Mr. Hooper is responsible for such horror classics as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Eaten Alive, Poltergeist, and The Funhouse.

I enjoyed Mortuary quite a bit. It had a great creepy feel to it, and I thought that the corpses in the mortuary room of house looked damn freaky.

The acting wasn't bad, the direction was pretty good, and the dark atmosphere was creepy. But the ending was something I had a problem with. The ending just didn't deliver and it was cliffhanger. Sigh. What a shame. If the ending had been different, this film would be getting a higher rating.

But all in all, Mortuary is worth a rent or a cheap DVD buy. I give it a 7.5 out of 10 rating and a letter grade of a B-
