Predators Review

So when I first seen the trailer for this movie I will be honest, I thought it was a remake. I was in fact shocked to find out that it was a sequel. Especially in today's times with a lot of remakes. When watching this movie thats what I thought it was, a remake. It wasn't exactly the same. They changed the story up to make it different. But overall I thought I was watching a remake of the original Predator movie.

 Don't get me wrong I didn't entirely hate the movie. It had it moments, but overall it was just way too slow at times and could not keep my interest. There were actually times that I was thinking to myself "are they even trying here?".

 Another problem I had with the movie is that just when you started to like one of the characters he dies. Which is not the main problem. The problem is the person dies after only being on screen for a few scenes.  No character development at all.

Now to what made me someone like the movie. The acting was perfect. Adrien Brody steals the show. Which was a big surprise since you really wouldn't expect him to a good action star. Also the Predators looked really good in this movie. Probably the best out of all 5 movies they have been in. 

 So overall I have to give this movie a 6 out of 10. Not a terrible movie but by no means as good as the other Predator movies. I would just wait for it to come to DVD to watch it unless you can get a ticket at a discount.
