Zombieland Review

Zombieland is a 2009 zomedy directed by Ruben Fleischer and stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone.

I can tell you right now that in 30 years, Zombieland will be looked at as a classic. The film is fast paced, easily watchable, very funny, had some great gore, and had some rightous zombies!

As far as zomedy films go, Zombieland is now in my top three favorites along with Return of the Living Dead and Shaun of the Dead. Return being number one of course.

The opening sequence of this film is brilliant. Metallica's For Whom The Bell Tolles along with some amazing slow motion zombie action immediately has your eyes glued to the screen. Zombieland also has the funniest and best cameo I have every seen in a horror movie.

The entire cast of this flick are great. Woody gave a great performance as Tallahassee, as did Jesse Eisenberg, playing his role of a loveable geek named Columbus.

Zombieland isn't perfect, but it's still pretty damn great. If you haven't seen this movie yet, go buy it on DVD and watch it. You'll love every minute of this zombified joy ride.

I give it a 9/10 and a letter grade of an A-
