The Fourth Kind Review
Written by: sickf**k
The Fourth Kind, the perfect example of why not to take too much LSD. No, my friends this movie isn't about mind altering drugs, but it does explain maybe why this Dr. Tyler was going crazy. The film which appears to be a true story tells of Dr. Tyler as she interviews other crazy people who claim they see an owl every night that keeps them up. Yet, all of this is taking place while the patients are under a complete trance (I wonder what was slipped into their water before they started?).
I found myself excited about watching The Fourth Kind which opens very powerful and just ends flat on it's ass. I was not pleased with the ending at all but the overall rating is worth at least a watch. I couldn't find myself to believe anything said in this film except a more expensive Hollywood take on the "Paranormal Activity" act that makes the audience assume what their watching is really true.
If this were true then my opinion is Dr. Tyler was a crazy bitch that took too much LSD/Drugs and made up this entire story do to the fact her husband couldn't take it and blow his brains out. Christ the therapist had a therapist, who in the right mind would go to this person? It is funny how nobody involved in this "real life" happening would participate in this film.
It was an interesting take I must add but that ending just left me unsatisfied. What am I supposed to do, feel bad for this chick? Milla Jovovich playing this role was horrible, not her acting just the role. Milla is a bad ass women who just has that skill of playing bad ass roles. Resident Evil series, Ultraviolet etc. Now that she's playing a woman who seriously has some issues, I really don't find her right for this role, which is one of many reasons this film got a low rating. I love Milla but in this film I found her to be an easy C+ and that's being nice.
At times I felt my hairs stand up but not to the extent of being scared shit less. Which there are only two films that haunt me to this day and they are Pet Cemetary and Paranormal Activity. The Fourth Kin failed to scared me to the point I need to brag about it but I will brag about it's failure. Decent film I'd give a 5 outta 10 but I'm in one of those moods where I feel like being nice. In the end Believe What You Want To.....
Sickfuck Out
In the end this movie tells nothing but a story of a crazy women who got away with kidnapping and probably murder.
