I really had high hopes for this movie, because I truly enjoy George Romero, and I could have loved this movie, Cameron did a great job, but the writers...where to start with them, what was the point?

The Dr. storyline was there, but nobody decided to expand on that, & there just needs to be a reason for a family to hack up a bunch of strangers. Plus the ending was totally lame, where did they take the survivor? Why did they make her a survivor? Who was the girl on the operating table? Way too many questions not enough answers, however, the blood & gore, the craziness of the family, the remote location, that was all one of the best settings and FX I have ever seen, I just felt truly let down by the lack of a back story.
