Paranormal Activity 2 Review

Ahhhhh I'm the first to leave a review! I just got back from an advanced screening of Paranormal Activity 2! If you were a fan of the original your going to die watching the second one! I personally liked it more than the original! More characters, more thing's happening throughout the whole movie to the end! 

And to answer the question "Did the movie go Hollywood?" NO it didn't, you can tell they spent more money on casting people and some effects used more often to freak us out more and more instead of just near the end. They stayed true to the fans!!! People were worried that it might be like "BLAIR WITCH 2"! LOL IT WASN'T AT ALL!!!!! No curse of the Blair Witch 2 for this movie!!!!!

Although If you didn't like the first one this movie this one probably wont offer too much more, although I'd still say give it a chance because alot more does go on, with the baby, the dog, the maid and of course the sister Kristy and fairly fast in the movie not just the end!.....The video spots with the dog growling and barking hearing noises and going to check them out, seeing something that's not there and the baby staring around in the room seeing something that's not there, then crying loudly had a really big impact! I wont give anything that happens away but it worked well!!!!! Interesting to see: 88% liked it also!

So This movie is basically a prequel to the original one! You see Katie and Micah all through it randomly but this movie takes place at her sisters house who she mentions in the first one "Kristy". Kristy's daughter, baby son Hunter, dog Abby and husband set up camera's because they start hearing noises......Her husband is a non-believer and gets annoyed and mad throughout the movie refusing to believe anything paranormal is happening. Katie talks about when they were younger, doing seance's and being terrified and that there mother snapped I guess.....Katie warns her sister to drop it and stop talking about it, because she might invoke something bad from their past and she didn't want her ending up like their mother. The very end is the day after Katie is possessed, goes missing and has killed Micah! Crazy....

The movie repeats the beginning of the original film where Katie is driving into her driveway and Micah is standing there video taping her, she walks in there house and asks him where he got a camera and how much it cost him ect.......I was so pleased with the turn out of this film I really have to give it 5 stars!
