I Spit on Your Grave 2010 Review

   2010 SUCKED for Horror Movies sadly... I hate to say it but there really wasn't too many mind blowing films. A lot of remakes or reboots? Whatever you want to call it but I have finally found my number one of 2010. I Spit on You Grave remake is that film.

   I've always loved the original because it pushed horror to the next level. Here we have this beautiful young author who goes to a remote cabin for peaceful thinking on her next novel, but it's all about to turn into a woman's worst nightmare when her house is invaded by four crazy ass rednecks who only have one thing on their mind....SEX! Yes, this film is just as dirty and filthy as the original but really tones it down on the whole rape scene. It wasn't a bad thing, but it really kept my attention (every time I got a text message, I just had to pause the movie because I didn't want to miss a single scene) and I can't tell you if I ever did that before.

   I loved this movie for one reason and one reason only, it shows women can be just as cruel and psychotic as men. You have this young beauty who just wants to relax and gets raped and left for dead by rednecks and she returns to raise hell. It was a very clever film that kept true honor to the original, while still standing alone as its own masterpiece. It is the best remake since "The Hills Have Eyes" remake back in 2006. A great cast with amazing acting, great torture scenes and just really one of those movies you need to check out.

   Consider this film, your dirty pleasure film and I might want to remind you that it is not the type of film for "Family Movie Fun Night" or one to sit down with your parents and watch. It is sick, it is brutal and it is fuckin' brilliant! Lock your doors, close your blinds and turn off the lights because there is a new bad ass horror film that is a  REMAKE that is knocking at your door. Every fan of the original must see this and if you never heard of either shame on you! I couldn't imagine a better way to update this film, this is exactly what I expected and I knew it was going to be amazing when I first saw the trailer. 

   10/10, 5 Stars and a MUST SEE for any horror fan out there. If you hate rape as much as I do then see what happens when one woman takes the law into her own hands in "I Spit On Your Grave" 2010....GO NOW!
