You bet! I'm talking all kinds of bloody stabbings, some skin peeling action, a spear through the head, a chopped off finger, a knife in the throat, a head is bashed wideopen with a bat, someone has the head dismembered, an ankle cut open with scissors, a ripped off arm, gory arrow hits and more! Very nice...

House of Wax is the surprise of the year for me. This viscious little slasher is an all-in, super-entertaining film that sometimes surpasses your imagination via it's graphic violence.

What I loved most about this film is the simplicity of the acts themselves; the killers motives are implied, but never actually explored like in most teen slashers these days. Also, the killers are extremely creepy, and have an original look.

This is not a film for the faint of heart, because the gore is crazy, but never over-the-top though. There's one sequence that WILL make you cringe since it involves someones skin being ripped off and let me tell you, it's not a pretty sight!

As it is a somewhat slow movie in the beginning, it's not for everyone since you have to be patient. Once the first murder finally occurs, everything moves on like a speeding train from then.

O, I almost forgot; Paris Hilton is in this, so you probably won't like her acting. But actually, she did a pretty good job, I could NOT believe I actually liked her performance, what a surprise! Plus, Jared Padalecki is HOT and he looks cute in this one, i tellya. So nothing to complain in the casting.

A very entertaining slasher, which you should really see once.
