Psycho (1960) Review

When I kept hearing everyone buzzing over this movie I had to see it. So one night I caught it on t.v. and I was amazed by it. I won't give too much information away but this is it. 

The audio in Psycho is just perfect. I really liked the sound effects and all the other extra pieces they used in this movie. The cast were great and were kinda funny at times but overall it was a good movie. It was the first horror film I've ever watched that was in black and white. 

It was done in the year 1960, well perfected I might add. There wasn't a good use of technology in horror films in those days that's why everything was so original. Those are most of my favorite horror movies that look original not something blown out of what it should be made for. They tried little effects in this movie but the best one I liked was when that person was falling down the stairs, I've never seen such an effect like that.

Around that time was when other movies such as, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, Friday the 13th were just coming up. This movie is added on my list for superb horror movies and I advise all of you horror fans and especially original horror fans to check this bad boy out if you can get the chance.
