There is not a bad thing to say about this flick,not one negative. the story is great basically a team is in the artics and have to deal with and alien type force that intrudes your cells and takes over you while trying to copy the person exactly, sounds not great but you would have to see to understand.

This movie I would say for a 1980 flick has some of the best  makeup effects and as well as CGI even better than most flciks these days. The movie does not drag and keeps u on the up with non stop action and an impressive plot that is interesting and its never to much as there is dialogue while none useless does not drag and some sort of action happens b4 u can say ok stop talking.

Its a great movie from begining to end overall it is my second favorite all time movie right behind Texas Chainsaw Massacre ( 1974 )  a movie I have watched since its DVD release same days as the new Dawn of the Dead i think in July since then I have watched it atleast once to twice a month just a fantastic job especially the extras just as good.
