Watch: The Thing, Sweded Edition

Herner Klenthur

If you want to experience pure genius then this sweded scene from the Thing will tickle your horror bone. The Thing is one of the greatest horror films of all time and the practical special FX work has never been topped.

The almost 3 minute video below is a ‘sweded’ version of one of the most powerful moments from the John Carpenter film. Sweded for those not aware is where indie filmmakers take a great moment from movie history and reproduce it with practical FX and zero budget.

This sweded The Thing video is charming and fantastic. Check it out below.

I find korean and japanese horror are the most messed up( &some of the best, that’s why hollywood rips them off & ruins them). But yea,euro-horror can be eerily frightening. -B

awesome! true fans of horror right there. this sweded concept is kinda cool far more enjoyable than the dogma95 concept of limited film making.
