2013 was a very interesting year for horror and running a horror site is certainly never a dull moment. As many of you long time readers who have chosen to read this site from day 1 know I run this site for the love of the genre. Between my day job and my family myself and the rest of our devoted team try to bring you the best in horror everyday.

Sam Raimi set the internet on fire when he announced that he was working on Army of Darkness 2 this year. That said Sam Raimi has announced he was working on it many times. This go around though multiple other sources confirmed that yes Sam Raimi is really going to do Army of Darkness 2. I think Sam Raimi announces things like this to just ‘test the waters’ and see the interest level .Considering it was the 9th most shared article of 2013 I think he knows what to do. [ Read it here ]

#4) New Official Poster for the Devils Knot [ Shared, 5,741x ]
This one frankly blows my mind. Apparently our readers are hot to trot for ‘The Devils Knot’ . Based on journalist Mara Leveritt’s bestselling book of the same name, “Devil’s Knot” follows private detective Ron Lax (Firth), who took on the West Memphis Three case pro bono. He found DNA evidence linking Terry Hobbs (Alessandro Nivola), the stepfather of one of the three murdered boys, to material that was used to bind one of the victims — evidence that helped convince a judge to release Baldwin, Misskelley Jr. and Echols. For April Fools we decided to really stir things up and holy crap did we ever. We got a ton of ‘hah you got mes’ and a whack of ‘we hate you, your scum’ but in the end it was one of our best and most entertaining April Fools day jokes. I thought I was the only one who wanted more Beetlejuice and it seems that I am completely wrong! When Michael Keaton confirmed that he would be returning for a Beetlejuice sequel the internet horror hive exploded. #1) World War Z Sequel Will Have a New Director [ Shared, 20,297x ]
World War Z was a really bad take off of the book by Max Brooks but it was a really well polished mainstream horror movie. For all the things it did that did not appeal to the diehard genre fans those things also made the film work with the general population who are newly fixated on zombies, love end of days movies and have a woody for Brad Pitt.
