First off, let me start by saying that despite the name, this isn't a horror film by any stretch of the imagination. I wasn't going to post my review here because of that but I noticed that it's had some mentions and some clips posted, so I changed my mind.
I should also say that a guy reviewing this film would probably have a very different viewpoint - mainly due to the differing standards in male/female eye candy in the film. Anyway...
Ever wish you’d trusted your instincts? I didn’t think I would like this film but I watched it anyway and hated every minute. I spent more time looking at my watch than at the screen. It’s pathetically short at 75 minutes but that was more of a blessing than anything else.
It’s meant to be in the style of a spaghetti western but with motorbikes. Give me the old-fashioned western, any day. It’s the story of two rival biker gangs trying to kill each other off, in a feud that began following a murder 30 years previously. There is also infighting among the gang members in a bid for supremacy and a supposed hunt for the son of the woman who had been murdered, but who the young man turns out to be is obvious from the start.
You can tell that Tarantino is involved because there is too much dialogue between characters who would just kill each other instantly, in reality. They have tried to distract viewers by throwing in massive amounts of nudity but none of it involving fit men, so I wasn’t distracted, I was just bored. If you want to see the nudity (for research purposes, I'm sure lol), watch it on fast-forward and give up on the rest.
