V/H/S Available Now…. ON VHS

VHS Poster 3Well isnt this a clever pay on terms. V/H/S is now available on VHS in the United States. UK readers have been able to score it on VHS for awhile now but now the gimmick has made its way to the US. My question is would you buy any movie on VHS these days?

I own around 900 movies on VHS and my favorite part of the collection is when I pop in an older movie and its completely F’d from age. V/H/S is a polarizing movie. Some of our readers and writers love it and others think its the worst piece of crap ever put to film. Which camp are you in? Sound off below.

V/H/S is a point of view, found-footage horror film from the perspective of America’s top genre filmmakers. In V/H/S, a group of misfits are hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house in the countryside and acquire a rare tape. Upon searching the house, the guys are confronted with a dead body, a hub of old televisions and an endless supply of cryptic footage, each video stranger and more inexplicably terrifying than the last…

It’s a good idea with a few decent moments but all in all, it’s a piece!

Sounds like a collectors item. Honestly I don’t know anybody who would want to collect this.
