Piranha 3DD and Apollo 18 Get Pushed Back

Chris Savage

Well this royally sucks. It looks as if both Apollo a8 and Piranha 3DD will be getting pushed back, unfortunately for one, its a huge push back, which has me annoyed, but also thankful.

According to Deadline, The Weinstein Company have Piranha 3DD which was set for a September 16, 2011 release has been pushed back to November 23, 2011.

The big kicker is Apollo 18 which was set for an April 22, 2011 release date has been pushed way back to a January 6, 2012 release. I was looking forward to witnessing Apollo 18 next month, but being pushed back, hopefully will enhance the film and give us a better quality picture instead of the rushed one, that was first planned.

You really gotta wonder what was so messed up with Apollo 18 for them to have it completed and ready to hit theaters in less then 30 days and then instead move it to 2012… seriously wtf?

Unless the government pulled it from the theaters last minute so they could change the story and take out scenes…
