Brand New Photos from Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie

Chris Savage 1 Comment Movie Page: Frankenweenie

October 5th cannot come soon enough. I am anxiously biting at the bit to see Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie on the big-screen, it looks absolutely breathtaking.

I’m a huge supporter of stop-motion animation and this looks fantastic, in any event, we have several brand new photos to share with you, go check them out below.

The voice cast features familiar Burton alumni such as; Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands), Catherine O’Hara (Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas), Martin Short (Mars Attacks!) and Martin Landau (Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow), joining them are Charlie Tahan and Atticus Shaffer.

Synopsis: “A heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.

A stop-motion animated film, ‘Frankenweenie’ will be filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which will elevate the classic style to a whole new experience.”

I loved the Frakenweeni short, so you can bet I’ll go see the feature length film in theaters. I’m really looking forward to it.
