Sofia Vergara Joins Machete Kills

Here we are again, folks, another day, and yet another piece of casting news for Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills, and this one just seems to be getting hotter by the day.

According to Variety, Sofia Vergara (“Modern Family”) is in talks to star alongside the previously announced cast of Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez, Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson and Demian Bichir.

If Vergara signs the deal, she will play “the leather-clad Madame Desdemona, whose Mexican harlots have information that Machete needs.”
