Stephen King Trivia Book Coming This Fall

Stephen King Trivia Book Coming This Fall“Night Flier is underrated, and I don’t know why The Dead Zone isn’t considered a classic piece of 1980s cinema,” said Kevin Quigley, Co-Author of The Illustrated Stephen King Movie Trivia Book, “But oh boy, are some bad.  I can’t believe I sat through The Mangler. And you know how people say that once you get to a certain level of rich, none of it starts being real anymore?  That’s how it is with the level of bad in the Children of the Corn movies.  Although I will reluctantly say that Children of the Corn II actually isn’t terrible.  Or ‘as’ terrible.”

That my friends, is the kind of research the ultimate Stephen King enthusiast does in order to put together the ultimate trivia book for the ultimate Stephen King fan. And The Illustrated Stephen King Movie Trivia Book by authors Brian James Freeman (The Illustrated Stephen King Trivia Book), Hans-Åke Lilja (Lilja’s Library: The World of Stephen King), and Kevin Quigley (Wetware: On the Digital Frontline With Stephen King) features more than trivia 1,000 questions guaranteed to test your knowledge of the movies, miniseries and television episodes based on ideas conjured from the imagination of the King of Horror.

“We had some rules about making up the questions,” said Quigley. “We wanted the tough ones tough, but never unfair.  And I don’t like number or date questions – I think trivia is more fun if you can sometimes make your way to the answer by thinking about the movie, rather than reciting rote facts.  We actually got to do several illustration-based questions, too — it’s such a cool book!”

Indeed, The Illustrated Stephen King Movie Trivia Book includes more than 50 special illustration-based questions by artist Glenn Chadbourne, as well as a special after word by director Mick Garris (The Stand, The Shining, Riding the Bullet, Desperation, Bag of Bones).

Pre-order your copy today at Cemetery Dance’s website cemeterydance.com. And for this week only, every preorder qualifies for a free signed limited edition Glenn Chadbourne art print.

The Dead Zone should be considered a classic piece of 80’s cinema. It was a great movie.
