Season two of The Walking Dead sure did divide the pack. While many thought it was slow and lacked more of the zombie action, many praised the story telling and character development. But, it looks as if season three of The Walking Dead will be pushing boundaries, and looks set to be even darker than the comics.
Recently The Hollywood Reporter caught up with Glen Mazzara, and asked what AMC will be willing to let them do in this third season?
“There is a tremendous amount of leeway. AMC is interested in pushing the boundaries. We do have material this season that’s darker than the comics. There is some very dark material that’s darker than how certain things played out in the comics.”

The Walking Dead returns this October 14th at 9PM on AMC.
