CBS Looking to Revive The Twilight Zone Series

Chris Savage

I have to say that television doesn’t get much better than the original 1959-1964 run of CBS’ The Twilight Zone, these episodes have and will last a life time and to this day I’m almost certain you guys revisit those times. Sadly CBS once revived the show in the eighties and quite frankly missed the mark for the most part, so will this new go-around serve them any better?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS is prepping a potential reboot of the classic sci-fi series The Twilight Zone, but that’s not all, the site reports that Bryan Singer is attached to develop, executive produce and potentially direct a new version of the series.

At this time CBS is currently out to writers to pen the proposed new series which has yet to be taken out to networks.

There was another new Twilight Zone series in the early 2000s and what I saw was also pretty meh. I know they just hope to attract viewers, but I’d rather they just attach a new name to it.
