NBC is in full on hype mode and you can believe that the marketing machine they have built up for Hannibal wont be slowing down anytime soon. With the TV show about to debut on April 4th (21 day from now) they are going to be pushing out advertisements as fast as they can and, really, this one seems like it can live up to the hype.
We’ve only seen bits and pieces of Hannibal, but it looks like NBC is refusing to hold back on the violence and intensity needed to make this a worthy successor of Silence of the Lambs. At first it might seem a little shocking to see such graphic matter on NBC, but then I happened to catch an episode of Criminal Minds earlier and it reminded me that basic television has been getting incrementally more violent, it just did it at a moderate pace.
