New Bigfoot Film Primal Rage

Special FX man Patrick Magee has been waiting for a really good bigfoot film. To date we haven’t gotten a really solid flick around one of America’s biggest campfire tales. So for the past six years Magee has been building an amazing Bigfoot costume. He plans on making his directorial debut on Primal Rage bringing Bigfoot to the big screen.

Filming will take place in Northern California and he wants to make a large majority of the special FX in camera. The costume looks impressive and I’m sure it was costly. That is why he has gone to Kickstarter to try to raise some funds to cover the costs to actually film the movie.

Below you can check out a video he put together about the making of the costume. I highly suggest checking out the Kickstarter page as well. They have a really impressive pitch video that I’m sure you guys will dig.

Synopsis: After Ashley Carr picks up her husband, Max, from an 18 month stint at a state penitentiary located deep in the forest, they are attacked by the Oh-Mah. Lost in the forest, Ashley and Max must battle the elements, crazy locals and the demons of their past in order to survive the day, only then to come face to face with the Oh-Mah.

I would much rather have an indie film where the filmmakers have painstakingly built an animatronic monster then a film where they put a CGI monster in. I give these guys huge credit

Great suit! Very nice animatronics on the facial expressions! Fuck you CGI, this is how it’s done!

Yeah Michael Calleo, that’s what the public wants, a stupid comment about how you think the movie is stupid. You are pure genius. And thanks for saying you’re going to pass Robert O’dell, like someone just offered you an appetizer or something. Just awesome comments guys. Why don’t you just go back to be wastes of space in you mom’s basements and just give up on trying to be social in life.

Saw Bigfoot here in NorCal. It looked so real it blew me away. And the way it blends into the forest really made me wonder… could such a species go unnoticed in the thousands of miles of wilderness areas here in the klamath and trinity mountains?
