Official Trailer & Posters for the Nightmare Hunters

To break away from the usual terror and intense horror, we have something for the kids, and of course I’m sure many of you guys may very well be interested in this one as well. Below we have our first look at the Nightmare Hunters, formerly Dark Roar, via an official trailer and a couple of posters thanks to our good friend Avery.

Synopsis: When something kills Mr Harper’s dog and he’s found terrified near the wood, the blame is placed on an escaped big cat. Two eleven year old friends, Sam (Brenock O’Connor) and Raffi (Toby Murray), set out on a mission to capture it. But this is no ordinary beast and they are not the only hunters in the forest.

What started as a bit of fun becomes a deadly game of hide and seek as they discover the true nature of the animal, and its links to the shadowy Bio-Corporation. The boys must now rely only on each other in a desperate struggle for survival.

The film is written and directed by Ewan Gorman.

So what do you guys make of this one? I’m not too sure myself, but I’m sure its a great little film for kids and an excellent stepping stone into the genre.
