AMC Gives ‘Walking Dead’ Companion Series Two Season Order

It looks like AMC is attempting to have all your zombie needs covered for the next two years.  Get ready, we’re in for non-stop “Walking Dead” action.

The network revealed today that it is preemptively giving its “Walking Dead” companion series a two season order.  The first season is set to be six episodes long and season two will drop in 2016.  I imagine that if things go well the second season could get more episodes.

So far the only detail revealed by the network is that the show will be set in Los Angeles.  The popular rumor seems to be that the series could be a prequel, set in the early days of the outbreak, but that hasn’t been confirmed by AMC yet.  What we do know is that the show will star Cliff Curtis (“Missing,” “Gang Related”), Kim Dickens (Gone Girl, “Sons of Anarchy”), Frank Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and Alycia Debnam Carey (Into the Storm).

We also have a first look at the series that you can check out down below.
