Amityville Horror Sequel Goes Online

Why anyone would even think to do a sequel to The Amityville Horror remake is really beyond me. I guess the film did make a tidy sum in the box office which unfortunately means that a sequel is always bound to come. As a matter of fact we reported about this a long time ago when Wes Craven caught wind of it a couple years ago.

Today B-D has heard some rumblings as well. This time they got some more precise details about the plot which makes this news even more ridiculous. Apparently MGM wants the story to focus on multimedia and the internet.. Yea, the internet. How the hell do you make Amityville Horror and put it on the internet. I don't know. But they are looking for writers. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens next for this direct to DVD project.
