Official Artwork for Scream Factory’s Ginger Snaps

Chris Savage

Scream Factory are on a roll as of late. Their upcoming releases are pretty damn phenomenal, and one of them is a personal favorite of mine and that is, of course, Ginger Snaps. So, with the film set for Blu-ray for the very first time, Scream Factory have just ushered in the official artwork, which some of you may find familiar.

As per their official Facebook page;

We end January with yet another key art reveal for you. Check out the new key art for our upcoming Collector’s Edition of the Canadian sisters-in-cahoots werewolf favorite GINGER SNAPS (DVD & Blu-ray combo out in July)!

Some of you may have seen this before as artist Joel Robinson (The Vincent Price Collection) adapted this from an existing piece of artwork he created prior to Scream Factory which we thought was cool to begin with and liked it enough to represent this fun cult film.

Special features are expected to be revealed this May.

        That’s a beautiful cover. Ginger Snaps is the best werewolf film of the early 21st century, and I look forward to the Blu-ray. I’m hoping for a new commentary track or two, and I hope both previous commentaries get ported over from the Canadian deluxe DVD (not to be confused with the bare-bones pan-and-scan USA release).

        This is my all-time favorite movie. I was obsessed with it when I saw it in high school and forced all my friends to watch it. I’m a little disappointed in the new cover art though :(. Although, I do love the bottom part.
