Are You Ultimate Zombie Warrior Material?

A few weeks back we received a video for this unknown entity, Ultimate Zombie Warrior. Many sites also got hold of the video and none of us was any the wiser. However, it looks as if my prediction has come true, Ultimate Zombie Warrior is something like the obstacle event, Ninja Warrior and they are currently seeking participants.

So, what are you, a zombie or a runner? That’s the question, as you have the opportunity to take part as either a zombie or simply a runner in the event. But, the event ranges from $15 upwards to $150.

“ULTIMATE ZOMBIE WARRIOR INFORMATION

Ultimate Zombie Warrior is an obstacle ridden, zombie infested 5K run. While you may have heard of many Zombie 5k runs recently, we offer a level of competition that is unmatched.

The Ultimate Zombie Warrior course is much more than a leisurely 5k run with easy obstacles and lethargic zombies.  We have at least 15 obstacles that will test your endurance, strength, and stamina.  These obstacles are inspired by military training manuals.

The course is certainly no walk in the park but it is not impossible. We want to test you, not kill you. We do however want you to feel a strong sense of accomplishment as you cross the finish line and we don’t want our course to fall short of your expectations. We will work with fitness experts and fellow runners as we are building the course to ensure the level of difficulty is ample but again not impossible.
The course will have numerous aggressive Zombies throughout that are out to infect the runners. Ultimate Zombie Warrior also proudly features “Chaser Zombies” that are unleashed after each wave begins and will chase runners through the end of the course, also attempting to infect them. This takes the Ultimate Zombie Warrior experience to the next level.

SPREADING THE INFECTION
Runners start the wave with three flags, similar to flag football. Throughout the 5K, zombies will be trying to take the flags (infect) the runners. If the runner crosses the finish line with at least one flag, they survived the zombie apocalypse. To Become the “Ultimate Zombie Warrior, you must be the first to finish your wave with at least on flag intact. If a runner loses all of his or her flags, they are considered dead and are not able to become the coveted Ultimate Zombie Warrior as they failed to survive the zombie apocalypse.

BECOME THE FIRST ULTIMATE ZOMBIE WARRIOR
First, visit our registration page and sign up for a wave. A runner wins his or her wave by being the first of a wave to cross the finish live alive (with at least one flag). The winner is then entered into the finalist wave. The finalist wave is to be held at 5:30PM the same night. The runner will not only be competing against 15 of the toughest runners but you will have keep 16 of the toughest Chaser Zombies a good distance behind you.
If you become the Ultimate Zombie Warrior, you are automatically entered into next year’s event for free. You also will be given your Ultimate Zombie Warrior title award and prizes at the awards ceremony.

BECOME THE FIRST ULTIMATE ZOMBIE
First, visit our registration page and sign up for a wave. Similar to runners, Chaser Zombies have the opportunity to be the “Ultimate Zombie”. Chase Zombies are based more on a point system. You receive points for for finish among the other Chaser Zombies in your wave and also points for flags taken. Each Chaser Zombie that wins a wave is entered into the finalist wave. The finalist wave is to be held at 5:30PM the same night. You will not only be competing against 15 of the toughest Chaser Zombies but you will have keep up and try to run down 16 of the toughest runners.
If you become the Ultimate Zombie, you are automatically entered into next year’s event for free. You also will be given your Ultimate Zombie title award and prizes at the awards ceremony.

CATCH THE WAVE
A wave is released every half hour starting at 8:30Am the day of the event. Each wave consists of up to 200 runners, with 15 Chaser Zombies and around 50 Zombies throughout the course.

ZOMBIES
Zombies must all be in make-up. Zombies can either come in full make-up, apply their make-up on-site or we will have make-up artists on hand to apply it for you. Zombies will be active for four straight waves, so they are the only participant that is in multiple waves (other than finalist wave runners and chasers). Zombies will be aggressive and out to get the runners.”
