Barry Bostwick, Joe Dante, and More Join ‘Tales of Halloween’

Axelle Carolyn’s “Tales of Halloween” continues to draw in some big names from around the horror industry.  Last October we learned that directors like Neil Marshall, Darren Bousman, and Mike Mendez had been attached as directors for the anthology film. Now we’re starting to hear about who will appear in it.

Deadline is reporting that Barry Bostwick (“Rocky Horror Picture Show”), Lin Shaye (“Insidious”), Pat Healy (“Cheap Thrills”), Booboo Stewart (“Twilight”), Alex Essie (“Starry Eyes”), Keir Gilchrist (“It Follows”), Noah Segan (“Looper”), James Duval (“Donnie Darko”), Sam Witwer (“Being Human”), Jose Pablo Cantillo (“The Walking Dead”) Kristina Klebe (“Halloween”), Graham Skipper (“Almost Human”), Marc Senter (“The Devil’s Carnival”) and Greg Grunberg (“Big Ass Spider”) are slated to star in the anthology film.

But the film isn’t just amassing a list of horror movie actors, it’s also putting together a list of behind the scene talent for cameos. Among those that are expected to cameo in the film are Joe Dante, John Landis, Adam Green, Stuart Gordon, and Mick Garris. Adrienne Barbeau is also listed among the cameos, but she’s best known for acting in movies like “Swamp Thing” and “The Fog.”  She’s also found success as a voice actor.

“Tales of Halloween” is a collection of stories taking place on Halloween night in a small American town.  The different stories will involve all sorts of creatures including ghouls, monsters, aliens and serial killers.  I think we might be seeing this one around October, but there’s no official release date given yet.  Deadline also has our first look at the film with this image of Barry Bostwick that you can check out down below.
