First Look At Sadako 3D Villain

We have been talking about Hanabusa Tsutomu’s Sadako 3D for quite some time now. While I’m a fan of the Ringu series, I’m extremely skeptical about this one, I’ m just not too sure. Unfortunately this one gives off a really tame feel, but maybe its just me. Anyway, Sadako 3D will not only feature Sadako, it appears as if she has a partner in crime and we have a first look at that character.

Courtesy of Tokyo Hive we have a first look at Yamamoto Yusuke who plays Kashiwada Seiji, a mysterious man in the film. “He tries to resurrect Sadako. He has shining green eyes and is a popular artist on the web, but one day, he suddenly disappears. There’s a rumor that he was distributing a video that causes people to commit suicide and as such, he was being pursued by the police. Details on how he found out about Sadako’s existence and why he’s trying to revive her remain mum for now.”

Synopsis: “13 years after the original Ring movie, Sadako returns to the big screen in 3D!

Akane is a high school teacher who hears a rumor from her students that there is actual footage on the Internet of someone’s suicide. The footage is said to drive anyone who sees it to also commit suicide. Akane does not believe the rumor at first, but when one of her female students dies after viewing the footage, she and her boyfriend Takanori are fatefully drawn into the horror that has been created by the man who appears in the suicide footage, Kashiwada.

Kashiwada’s intention is to create chaos in the world by bringing back Sadako and the power of her curse. Now Akane has to fight against Sadako and Kashiwada to save the lives of herself and Takanori.”

Sadako 3D will be released in Japan on May 12, 2012.
