Alex Craig Mann’s upcoming zombie comedy flick, Detention of the Dead actually looks like a fun ride, I wasn’t too sure on it to begin with, but what the heck. Who doesn’t like watching some mindless madness?

Here we have the brand new poster, and if you hit up Spotlight Pictures, you can check out the official trailer for the upcoming film and also you will find an extremely long synopsis.

Detention of the Dead stars Jacob Zachar (“Greek”), Alexa Nikolas (“Zoey 101″), Christa B. Allen (“Revenge”), Jayson Blair (“The Hard Times of RJ Berger”), Justin Chon (“Twilight”) and Max Adler (“Glee”).

Synopsis: “Comedy and Horror unite in this “The Breakfast Club” meets “Shaun of the Dead” tale about a group of oddball high school students who find themselves trapped in detention with their classmates having turned into a horde of Zombies. Can they put their differences aside and work together to survive the night? Fat chance! This is High School after all.”
