‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ Showcases the Kaijus in New Trailer

Recently we got a good look at the new kaiju being featured in the upcoming sequel “Godzilla: King of the Monsters.”  However, that good look came in the form of toys so that doesn’t really count.  Along with that look we heard a rumor that a new trailer for the film would be coming out last week.  But that turned out to be off by a day as the trailer dropped today.

Where as the first trailer for “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” focused on the humans and kept some of the new players out of the light, this trailer is all about the monsters.  Here we get a great look at characters like Rodan, Mothra, and the big guy himself King Ghidorah.  Check out the trailer down below.

The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

“Godzilla: King of the Monsters” hits theaters in May 2019.
