Lydia Hearst Is On for Cabin Fever: Patient Zero

Lydia Hearst, the model-turned-actress daughter of Patty Hearst, has joined the cast of Cabin Fever: Patient Zero, the reboot of the horror movie from Indomina.

Sean Astin and Brano Eaton are starring in the pic, which also has Jillian Murray and Ryan Donowho as part of the cast. Mitch Ryan, meanwhile, has stepped into the shoes vacated by Ben Hollingsworth, whose schedule was crunched when he booked a role on The CW’s midseason show “Cult”.

The story kicks off when a bachelor party cruise in the Caribbean unexpectedly runs ashore on a medical-research island and a deadly virus is unleashed. The passengers must struggle to find a way to survive before their own demons and the flesh-eating bacteria consumes them all. Lydia will play a wide-eyed research grad student who is aligned with the film’s antagonist (Astin).
