From the Press Release:

Melbourne, Victoria. Strongman Pictures Entertainment today announced the release of a fresh teaser for their upcoming film TARNATION, just in time for the Halloween weekend, and also unveil Tom Hodge’s glorious new poster art.

TARNATION is described as a demon-unicorn-cabin-in-the-woods-twisted-fairy-tale-monster-horror-adventure. It’s the fourth feature film from Melbourne based do-it-yourself film making outfit Strongman Pictures Entertainment. Their previous films include the roller-derby-slasher MURDERDROME, female-wrestling-zombie-fight-movie FROM PARTS UNKNOWN: FIGHT LIKE A GIRL, and the recently premiered and award winning sci-fi-action-flick, SHEBORG MASSACRE (aka SHEBORG).

When Oscar’s dreams of becoming a rockstar are brutally crushed her boyfriend leaves (taking the cat and sofa with him) forcing Oscar to reflect on her life. Oscar hits the road with her roommate Rain, Rain’s fiancee Bo, and Bo’s hot cousin, Wilmer, to recuperate at a cozy cabin in the woods.

Unfortunately the cabin is host to a cursed painting, and the surrounding woods are, literally, Satan’s playground. Oscar soon finds herself battling demons, a flying unicorn headed monster, a spider with a human face, a zombie kangaroo, a demon unicorn, Satan himself and, ultimately, the evil inside herself in an epic battle for her soul.

TARNATION stars the award winning actress Daisy Masterman (Best Actress, Melbourne Underground Film Festival, 2016) in the role of Oscar (Murderdrome, Sheborg Massacre, Gwen Stefani’s Kuu Kuu Harajuku, Bloodlines).

The film also stars Emma Louise Wilson as Wheels (From Parts Unknown, Sheborg Massacre, Utopia), Danae Swinburne as Rain (Sheborg Massacre, Catsick Blues), Blake Waldron as Wilmer, Joshua Diaz as Bo, Mitchell Brotz as the Stoned Guy, and Sean McIntyre as The Band’s Manager (Sheborg Massacre). Local punk rockers, The Mercy Kills, also feature as “The Band”.

TARNATION wraps shooting on October 29th this year with an expected premiere in 2017.
