Watch Anne Hathaway Control a Kaiju in First Trailer for ‘Colossal’

‘Colossal’ has one of those premises that instantly grabs your attention and it certainly helps that it has an actress as spirited as Anne Hathaway spearheading it.  Let’s just hope that the combo can come together in a glorious way.

In the film Anne plays a woman who moves back home after losing her job and being dumped by her boyfriend (Dan Stevens).  However, her life takes a sudden turn when a giant kaiju-like creature appears in South Korea and she begins to suspect that she may be connected to it.

The film also stars Jason Sudeikis and is being directed by  Nacho Vigalondo who has directed such films as “Timecrimes” and “Open Window.”  Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
