Penny Dreadful has landed on Showtime and for those of you who do not have the subscription service you can watch the first episode of Penny Dreadful FREE below.

The new series from Oscar-nominee writer John Logan (“Sweeney Todd” and “Skyfall”) takes an interesting look at classic literary characters- Dr. Frankenstein, Dorian Grey, Mina Harker, and more- by placing them all together in Victorian London.  And we all know that whenever you place so many Victorina characters together, psychosexual terror is bound to take place.

The cable series will star Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton, Eva Green, Billie Piper, Rory Kinnear, and more.  Juan Antonio Bayona, the director of “The Orphanage”, will direct the first two episodes of the eight-part series.
